Qorilazo Noticias: El Poder Ejecutivo impulsó esta tarde un diálogo entre la población del distrito de Livitaca, en Cusco, y la empresa minera Hudbay, durante el cual suscribieron un acta con una serie de acuerdos para el incremento presupuestal y el desarrollo de obras en beneficio de la población.
La suscripción del documento fue liderada por el viceministro de Minas, Jorge Chávez; con la presencia de la secretaria de Gestión Social y Diálogo de la PCM, Giselle Huamaní; del alcalde de Livitaca, Rony Almora; representantes de las 15 comunidades y cuatro anexos; así como y cinco alcaldes de los centros poblados del distrito, entre otras autoridades y representantes de la sociedad civil. Cabe recordar que el pasado 29 de octubre se celebró una reunión entre funcionarios de la PCM y representantes de Livitaca en la ciudad del Cusco, donde se acordó el levantamiento de las medidas de fuerza que mantenía la población, para iniciar un proceso de diálogo con la minera Hudbay. AcuerdosEntre los acuerdos asumidos, la minera Hudbay se comprometió a incrementar 2 millones de soles sobre el actual convenio marco para el 2022, con lo que Livitaca contaría con un aporte económico total de 5 millones y medio de soles, de los cuales a la fecha están comprometidos un millón y medio. Asimismo, la empresa se obliga a invertir 52 millones de soles a través de Obras por Impuestos para proyectos de agricultura y salud en el distrito, las cuales se desarrollarán en coordinación con la autoridad local y con la garantía del Ejecutivo.
