Qorilazo Noticas: El cumplimiento del compromiso se realiza en el marco de los convenios suscritos
entre la Municipalidad Distrital de Livitaca y la empresa minera Hudbay Perú,
beneficiando a las 15 comunidades campesinas del distrito.
Con el objetivo de tecnificar la agricultura y mejorar la producción pecuaria y la crianza de
animales menores, Hudbay Perú hizo la entrega simbólica de 15 nuevos tractores agrícolas
a las comunidades campesinas pertenecientes al distrito de Livitaca, ubicado en la provincia
de Chumbivilcas, región Cusco.
El alcalde del distrito de Livitaca Rony Almora Dávalos manifestó:”Este es el producto de un
diálogo consensuado; estos tractores van eminentemente en beneficio del desarrollo
agropecuario, definitivamente hoy es un día histórico al entregar a nuestros hermanos del
campo estas maquinarias agrícolas”.
Fany Nuñez, Jefa de Relaciones Gubernamentales de Hudbay, mencionó que: “Esta
entrega se realizó en el marco del convenio provincial y distrital suscritos para el año 2022,
bajo una inversión de s/ 4,822,335.42, a fin de apoyar las actividades agropecuarias de la
zona y fomentar el desarrollo local, este es el producto del diálogo que siempre busca
construir el desarrollo del sector agropecuario”.
Esta iniciativa permitirá optimizar las labores agrícolas y mejorar la rentabilidad de la
producción agrícola del distrito, lo que significará el incremento de ingresos económicos a
las familias dedicadas a la actividad, lo que se traduce en el desarrollo de Livitaca.
En las próximas semanas se hará la entrega oficial a las comunidades en coordinación con
la Municipalidad Distrital de Livitaca y los presidentes de las 15 comunidades; por su parte
la comuna distrital viene adquiriendo el arado y rastra para su próxima entrega.
