Tras dos días de debate y pese a todos los cuestionamientos que pesan sobre el Gabinete, el pleno del Congreso otorgó el voto de confianza solicitado por el presidente del Consejo de Ministros Guido Bellido, que es un requisito constitucional para que pueda continuar en el cargo. Fueron 73 votos a favor, 50 en contra y 0 abstenciones.
En su intervención final, el premier intentó desvirtuar las acusaciones en su contra. “No somos terroristas (…) no hemos participado ni participaremos en actos de terror”, indicó pese a las investigaciones fiscales, por ejemplo, en su contra por apología y los atestados policiales que vinculan al titular de Trabajo, Iber Maraví, con atentados terroristas.
