Qorilazo Noticias: Con el objetivo de mejorar el servicio de recolección de residuos sólidos de forma continua, Hudbay Perú entregó recientemente a las autoridades y población de Livitaca un moderno camión compactador de basura, el cual permitirá una mejor cobertura del servicio, además de asegurar el bienestar de las familias y la conservación del medio ambiente.
Este aporte se realizó gracias al trabajo coordinado entre la autoridad municipal, representantes comunales, dirigentes, población y Hudbay Perú, al respecto el alcalde del distrito de Livitaca, Rony Almora Dávalos manifestó: “Nosotros hacíamos la recolección de basura en volquetes y en camiones, hoy día estamos modernizando este servicio que no solo brindará cobertura a la capital del distrito, también a los centros poblados y las comunidades del distrito de Livitaca”.
El vehículo es el primero en su tipo al servicio del distrito, con capacidad para poder transportar hasta 15 metros cúbicos de residuos sólidos, y cuenta también con un alza contenedor que tiene capacidad de levante de 800kg.
Ronald Calderón, Presidente del Frente Único de Defensa de los Intereses del Distrito de Livitaca indicó: “En reunión popular los pobladores, presidentes de los centros poblados, representantes comunales nos hemos puesto de acuerdo para poder comprar este camión compactador”, también resaltó que estos logros son gracias al diálogo entre la población y la empresa minera Hudbay. La compactadora de marca Mercedes Benz modelo Atego fue financiada por Hudbay Perú, como parte del cumplimiento de compromisos del Convenio Marco Provincial, al respecto Fany Nuñez, representante de Hudbay Perú señaló: “Somos una empresa que cree que la única forma de trabajar en consenso es manteniendo el diálogo”, resaltó que la priorización de estos proyectos se hace en espacios que cuentan con la participación de autoridades y representantes comunales y el soporte del alcalde distrital. Esta entrega no sólo permitirá el incremento de la cobertura de la prestación del servicio de recolección y transporte de residuos sólidos por parte de la Entidad Municipal, sino que también permitirá prestar el servicio de manera adecuada y con el vehículo adecuado, incrementar la ruta de recolección de residuos sólidos permitiendo cubrir todo el sector y de esta forma no tener focos de basura en las arterias del distrito, generar y contribuir al bienestar de su población.
