Qorilazo Noticias: El general de la Macrorregión Policial (Macrepol) Cusco, Javier Ríos, se mostró en desacuerdo con la integración de las rondas campesinas al sistema de seguridad ciudadana. Dijo no conocer el fundamento del anuncio del presidente de la República, Pedro Castillo.
“Yo no puedo referirme a propuestas que no están reguladas por ley. Tendría que explicarlas el autor de la idea”, señaló.
Además, mencionó no conocer las operaciones de los ronderos y que, ante la falta de regulación, podrían estar determinadas por la informalidad y el abuso del poder.
“Los ronderos no tienen marco legal funcional. Tendrán que reestructurarse si hay voluntad de hacer posible esa propuesta. Cuáles serán sus funciones, sus competencias. Nada que esté al margen de la norma puede ser adecuado”, agregó el jefe policial.
Por otro lado, Ríos argumentó que el rol de la policía en la seguridad ciudadana no tiene mayores observaciones. “Nosotros no tenemos incidencia de conducta disfuncional. Hay algunas quejas por llegar tarde al centro de trabajo. Otras por estado de ebriedad, pero los registros son bajos”, agregó.
Según la prefectura regional, las rondas campesinas no están presentes en todas las provincias de Cusco.
