Hudbay Perú y el distrito de Velille inician obra de mejoramiento y ampliación de pistas y veredas

Qorilazo Noticas : En cumplimiento de los compromisos entre el distrito de Velille y la Empresa minera Hudbay Perú, el día de ayer 20 de junio se dio inicio a las obra: “MEJORAMIENTO Y AMPLIACIÓN DEL SERVICIO DE MOVILIDAD URBANA DE LOS BARRIOS BUENOS AIRES-PATACSILLO, PORVENIR HATUN CCOLLANA, TÚPAC AMARU, JUAN VELASCO ALVARADO Y VALLECITO DEL DISTRITO DE VELILLE, PROVINCIA DE CHUMBIVILCAS – DEPARTAMENTO DE CUSCO” (PISTAS Y VEREDAS II), bajo la modalidad de Obras por Impuestos (OxI) un mecanismo de inversión que permite que las empresas privadas coordinen con los gobiernos regionales y locales la ejecución de obras de alta prioridad.
“Las obras por impuestos no son una modalidad nueva, hay muchos gobiernos regionales y locales que han utilizado para ejecutar proyectos de gran envergadura, en Chumbivilcas ya hay experiencias, en nuestro distrito de Velille está es la primera vez que se está realizando una obra por impuestos. Muchos distritos quisieran tener esta oportunidad, afortunadamente nosotros contamos con aliados estratégicos como la empresa Hudbay que apuesta por invertir sus impuestos en Velille”, manifestó el Econ. Antonio Toledo Prieto, alcalde del distrito de Velille.
El proyecto tiene como objetivo mejorar la calidad de vida de más de 8505 pobladores del distrito, quienes gozarán de nuevas pistas y veredas debidamente pavimentadas y señalizadas que les permitirá desplazarse de manera más segura y cómoda para realizar sus actividades diarias, ya sea a pie o en vehículo. Se estima que la obra concluya en el mes de mayo del año 2023.
Doroteo Huamaní Conislla, presidente del barrio Buenos Aires Patacsillo, señaló: “Es un anhelo de la población, contento porque los 5 barrios se beneficiarán con esta obra en esta segunda etapa. Estamos satisfechos por el inicio de obra, el apoyo que nos brinda la empresa minera nos permite hacer posible proyectos en beneficio de la población”.
Para la ejecución de la obra se contratará mano de obra local, a manera de contribuir a la reactivación de la economía de las familias y generar el crecimiento económico del distrito. Este proyecto será ejecutado por la Constructora MECH y será supervisado por el Consorcio Velille.
“Hudbay viene apostando hace un par de años por el mecanismo de obras por impuestos, que es un mecanismo transparente y altamente beneficioso, esta fiscalizado desde la Contraloría de la República y también hay un ente supervisor contratado por la municipalidad para garantizar que se va a ejecutar de manera transparente y en beneficio del distrito”, indicó Carlos Calienes, Superintendente de Desarrollo de Asuntos Públicos y Sociales. Cabe resaltar que el proyecto contempla la construcción de estructuras de concreto a nivel de pavimento para pistas y veredas, escalinatas, muros de contención, alcantarillas para evacuación de aguas pluviales, tratamiento de áreas verdes y señalización de tráfico.
De esta manera, Hudbay Perú continúa trabajando de manera coordinada con el distrito y sus autoridades, para mejorar sus pistas y veredas pues son acciones de desarrollo que permitirán un mejor y mayor acceso y contribuirá al cierre de brechas de infraestructura en el distrito.
