Qorilazo Noticias: Especialistas del CITEtextil Camélidos Cusco han desarrollado prototipos de maquinaria para la transformación de la fibra de alpaca, que permitirá mejorar los ingresos económicos de más de 25,000 familias productoras que se dedican a la crianza de este camélido sudamericano en la región Cusco.sí lo destacó hoy el Instituto Tecnológico de la Producción (ITP) del Ministerio de la Producción (Produce) que precisa que con estos prototipos de “Máquinas Familiares” (Escarmenadora, Lavadora, Cardadora e Hiladora), se logra convertir la materia prima recién esquilada, en un producto altamente valorado en el mercado internacional como es el hilo artesanal.
De esta forma, se espera que los comerciantes aumenten sus ingresos superando en promedio la renta anual a 24,000 soles al año. En la región existen familias criadoras de alpaca que viven anualmente con 2,400 soles. Esto implica que con poco más de 200 soles al mes, deban pagar todas sus necesidades básicas.
Más de 8,000 servicios brindados
En los últimos años (2019-2022), el CITEtextil Camélidos Cusco ha logrado fortalecer e impulsar al sector alpaquero con más de 8,040 servicios especializados a un total de 4,612 clientes.
Solo hasta julio del 2022, se asistió a más de mil emprendedores, a través de 2,358 servicios innovadores y tecnológicos, teniendo como áreas de intervención destacadas, las zonas de Canchis – Pitumarca, Chumbivilcas, Ollantaytambo – Urubamba, Quispicanchi – Ocongate y la ciudad de Cusco.
El CITEtextil Camélidos Cusco, tiene como objetivo apoyar las acciones de transferencia tecnológica, capacitación, asistencia técnica y asesoría especializada a las unidades de negocios, para la adopción u optimización de procesos y desarrollo de productos mejorados.
La finalidad es generar valor agregado en los productos de fibra de alpaca, tanto para el mercado nacional como internacional.
