Qorilazo Noticias: La Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros (PCM) informó sobre los avances del diálogo que se mantiene con la minera MMG Las Bambas y las comunidades campesinas de Chumbivilcas, en Cusco.
Mediante un comunicado, el ente señaló que el último sábado se llevó a cabo una reunión de trabajo en el distrito de Capacmarca entre representantes de la PCM y las comunidades de Chumbivilcas.
Luego de lo cual, el domingo 12 de diciembre las comunidades remitieron a la entidad su «Propuesta final para las mesas de diálogo instaladas por la PCM».
El lunes 13 de diciembre, la Secretaría de Gestión Social y Diálogo de la PCM «cumplió con remitir dicha propuesta a la empresa minera Las Bambas para su análisis y evaluación correspondiente».
Una vez recibida la respuesta de la minera y en el más breve plazo, señalan, «se convocará a una nueva reunión con los representanes de las referidas comunidades campesinas».
Comunidades retoman bloqueo
Ya se cumplieron 25 días desde que las comunidades de Chumbivilcas bloquearon nuevamente el corredor minero del sur, según los manifestantes, por incumplimiento del Estado.
«El Estado que no le presta mucha atención a este problema. Al parecer, solo reacciona cuando ya hay la toma de vías. Sin embargo, vienen, llevan su acta y fotografías, y no se aparecen hasta que otra vez hay una reunión u otra vez hay toma de vía», declaró Víctor Villa, asesor de las comunidades campesinas de Chumbivilcas.
Los dirigentes de las 10 comunidades campesinas no llegaron a acuerdos con representantes de la empresa minera MMG Las Bambas y esperan ser convocados a una nueva reunión.
A través de un comunicado, las comunidades anunciaron la interrupción de las mesas de diálogo y acusaron a la minera MMG Las Bambas de no avanzar en las conversaciones sobre el impacto ambiental de su operación, así como la integración de las comunidades a la cadena de valor de la empresa.
