Qorilazo Noticias: La empresa minera Hudbay Perú en alianza con la Asociación Vida Perú, entregan equipos e insumos médicos para mejorar los servicios que brindan los Establecimientos de Salud Públicos de la región Cusco, en beneficio de la población de escasos recursos económicos.
Con el objetivo de continuar fortaleciendo el sistema de salud local, Hudbay Perú en alianza con la Asociación Vida Perú, entregaron equipos e insumos médicos a la Gerencia Regional de Salud del Cusco, con la finalidad de que sean distribuidos en los centros de salud de la región Cusco y la provincia de Chumbivilcas.
Como parte de esta iniciativa se donaron camillas, andadores, muletas, colchones para terapia, entre otros insumos, con la finalidad de que los centros de salud locales cuenten con los implementos necesarios para ayudar a que el personal médico continúe con la atención de los pacientes de la Región Cusco y así generar mayor bienestar en la población.
Durante la ceremonia de entrega el Gobernador Regional del Cusco, Jean Paul Benavente García, saludó el trabajo articulado con la empresa, el cual ha sido fundamental para la lucha contra la pandemia. “Realmente hay voluntad por apoyar a mi tierra, al pueblo de Chumbivilcas y a la región Cusco. Agradezco a nombre del pueblo de Cusco por esta donación que servirá para luchar contra la pandemia”.
Asimismo, el gerente de la Gerencia Regional de Salud Cusco, Javier Ramirez Escobar, manifestó que los materiales e insumos serán destinados a los hospitales de toda la región. “Esta donación estará al servicio de la población, no solo del ámbito de influencia de la mina, sino también se enviará a La Convención, el VRAEM, Espinar, Chumbivilcas, Sicuani, así como para la Red de Salud Norte, Red de Salud Sur”.
El valor total de la donación asciende a un aproximado de USD 185,000.00 incluyendo los gastos de almacenaje y transporte desde Lima hacia la ciudad del Cusco.
De esta manera Hudbay Perú reafirma su compromiso con la salud de la población de la región Cusco y de la provincia de Chumbivilcas, demostrando que el trabajo articulado es clave para el impulso de iniciativas que contribuyan a mejorar la calidad en la atención de la salud.
