Qorilazo Noticias: El proyecto de “Adquisición de equipos agrícolas y materiales para el fortalecimiento del sector agropecuario en 12 comunidades campesinas del distrito de Santo Tomás», se ejecuta en cumplimiento del convenio marco suscrito entre la provincia de Chumbivilcas y la empresa minera Hudbay Perú.
En cumplimiento del convenio marco firmado entre la provincia de Chumbivilcas y la minera Hudbay Perú, se realizó la instalación de geomembranas en 03 reservorios de almacenamiento de agua, de una capacidad aproximada de 175 m3 en la comunidad de Moscco Ccochani y 01 reservorio de 500 m3 para la comunidad de Ccoyo. Además, se entregó 02 rastras de levante, 22 picadoras y materiales para la implementación de sistemas de riego en las comunidades del distrito, por un valor de 500 mil soles.
Cabe señalar que los 4 reservorios de agua fueron posibles gracias al aporte de las comunidades en los procesos de excavación y perfilado de pozos, evidenciando así el trabajo en conjunto que vienen desarrollando las comunidades, autoridades locales y la empresa minera Hudbay Perú.
“Fuimos beneficiados con 3 pozos que tienen geomebranas, gracias al apoyo del convenio marco con Hudbay. Nosotros hemos realizado faenas para poder realizar el reservorio. Nos dedicamos a la producción de maíz, papa, cebollas y zanahoria y ahora con el pozo de agua ya tenemos para mantener a nuestros hijos y familias, porque el riego nos ayudará”, expresó el presidente de la comunidad de Moscco Ccochani, quien resaltó el beneficio que tendrán los reservorios para su vida cotidiana.
Por su parte el Regidor de la Municipalidad Provincial de Chumbivilcas, Nelson Chaco, resaltó: “Hoy se realizó la entrega de los reservorios en las comunidades de Ccoyo y Moscco Ccochani. También se está realizando la entrega de materiales que se adquirieron con la firma del convenio marco provincial con Hudbay. Cada presidente comunal recibirá las maquinarias para poder llevar adelante y seguir trabajando en el tema agropecuario”.
De esta manera las 12 comunidades del distrito de Santo Tomás potenciarán el sector agropecuario, fomentando el empleo local e impulsando el desarrollo económico de la provincia de Chumbiivilcas. ¡Trabajando unidos por el desarrollo agropecuario!
