Qorilazo Noticias: A través de la organización civil Derechos Humanos Sin Fronteras, la región Imperial canalizó demandas sociales que aguardan respuestas del gobierno de Pedro Castillo.
Uno de los casos es el de las víctimas de esterilizaciones forzadas. “Señor presidente, desde Cusco, las víctimas están esperando que cumpla su palabra y sus ofrecimientos de atender sus demandas”, expresó Yulissa Casana, coordinadora de DHSF.
Solo en la provincia de Chumbivilcas son más de 200 mujeres y varones sometidos a las operaciones durante el gobierno de Alberto Fujimori. Todos se encuentran a la espera de que el Ministerio de Justicia los reconozca y otorgue las reparaciones económicas y en salud.
Otro reclamo de los defensores de derechos humanos es que se inserte una política contra la criminalización de la protesta y se garantice la protección para los dirigentes.
Mauro Ascensio, exdirigente del distrito de Chamaca (Chumbivilcas), contó que tiene varios años en los tribunales. Se defiende de la acusación de delitos como disturbios tras una protesta que acompañó por presuntos daños medio ambientales por la actividad minera. “Lo que a mí me duele es que ni siquiera la minera, sino el Estado sea el que insista en que me castiguen. En mi caso, el gobierno volvió a apelar para ser parte del proceso. Eso debe cambiar. Nosotros protestamos porque pedimos responsabilidad social y ambiental de las mineras”, narró.
Un tercer punto en agenda es el plan de atención a las personas con metales pesados en la sangre de la provincia de Espinar. Pese a una sentencia confirmada el año pasado a favor de las víctimas, aún no hay asistencia ni acciones para mejorar la calidad del agua en la provincia.
Oracio Pacori Mamani, presidente de Derechos Humanos, sostuvo que depende del Ejecutivo que se cumpla la sentencia lo antes posible. “Los estudios han demostrado que la población padece de metales pesados, pero aún no se hace nada por ellos”, apuntó.
