Los integrantes del Comité de Gestión aprobaron por unanimidad el Plan Maestro del Área de Conservación Regional “Tres Cañones”, ubicado en la provincia de Espinar, región Cusco, documento que, de acuerdo a las normas nacionales vigentes, deberá ser elevado al Servicio Nacional de Áreas Naturales
Protegidas por el Estado (Sernanp) para su revisión y aprobación.
El Comité de Gestión del Área deConservación Regional “Tres Cañones” está conformado por representantes del municipio provincial de Espinar y de los distritos de Coporaque y Suykutambo. También por los dirigentes de las Comunidades Campesinas de Mamanihuayta, Manturka y Cerritambo, las Asociaciones de Ganaderos; Camélidos Sudamericanos; Cultivos Andinos, Artesanos y Recursos Hídricos de esa provincia.
Asimismo, integran el comité los representantes de entidades públicas y privadas, tales como la Oficina Descentralizada de Evaluación y Fiscalización Ambiental (OEFA), Autoridad Local del Agua de Espinar, Alto Apurímac, Velille, Espinar, Agencia Agraria de esa localidad, Dirección Desconcentrad de Cultura, Programa Nacional PAIS, Unidad de Gestión Educativa Local – UGEL, Red de Salud Canas, Canchis y Espinar, Plan Copesco, Dirección Regional de Comercio Exterior y Turismo y la Asociación de Guías de Turismo de Espinar.
Gracias al Plan Maestro del Área de Conservación Regional “Tres Cañones”, se planificarán actividades y obras a ejecutarse dentro de las estrategias que permitan una adecuada gestión de la zona que abarca una extensión de 39 mil 485 hectáreas donde residen 25 mil habitantes, quiénes al participar en una serie de talleres han contribuido a la formulación del mencionado documento.
